The drywallers had a few days of delays due to rain making it hard to get materials onsite, but once they did they were a FORCE. The whole house worth of drywall was hung in a day and a half. Then the mudding/taping guy came in and worked 8 12 hour days straight with barely any breaks. Then they primed and painted the ceilings in another day. This video was taken at the same time as our 1st floor framing tour so it’s been about 5 months. I hope to have another video tour soon with all the drywall up! Another month, another progress report. Spring is in full swing here so we’re having to pick and choose projects based on the weather. But that means we also have to always have a variety of indoor and outdoor items that need to be completed off our punch list. I took this video in December, to show the basic layout of the house in video form. It’s amazing to me how much it’s changed in the last few months. I have a video for the basement and 2nd floor as well and those will come out eventually. I’d like to do video walk-throughs after drywall and then after we’re “finished” to see the progress, so there may be more video tours in our future. I really hate my voice…
