House leveling up- July 2020

House leveling up- July 2020

We’ve crossed a full year in the house. But in this anniversary month we completed:

  • I GREW GRASS (and a million weeds)
  • Acquired approximately 5,000 ft of trim (baseboard, window and door trim)
  • Painted Jim’s office
  • Began installing and painting trim
  • Left for our first vacation of 2020

August will be almost solely focused on completing more trim. Anything else that gets done is cake. To an outsider (or blog reader), it may seem like there’s so little to be finished. Do not be fooled by this illusion! I’m hoping to have another post this month outlining the vast quantity of projects still on the to-do list.

  1. The lawn is coming in nicely, you can worry about weeds in the Fall after the growing season. The wood trim looks great and you are making good progress. I hope your week in “cheesehead” land was as relaxing and enjoyable as your pictures.
