House leveling up- May 2019
This was a big and busy month. So busy in fact that I forgot to start cataloging our work until we were over halfway through the month.
If you need to catch up (I know not everyone get notices about new posts) here’s our backlog of progress for 2019:
Here’s what we’ve accomplished this month:

- Installed venting for ERV and range hood
- Framed the screened-in porch, including setting the porch posts with some help from friends while Amy was out of town
- Installed shower valves and drains
- Installed network and audio wiring
- Installed central vac pipes
- Shopping spree (lights, faucets, towel bars, etc)
- Ordered cabinets
- Lots and lots of clean up
- Drywall begins!
Here’s what we hope to get done in June (eep!):
- Install AC
- Have metal roof installed
- Build the balcony
- Pour the driveway
- Paint, paint, paint!
- Insulate and drywall basement ceiling
