Over the last week we’ve been clearing out the last of the items from the old house (really glad we made the garage a generous 2 car instead of a minimum 2 car) and getting the permit paperwork ready. This is all very not-glamorous stuff here. But it’s still moving us in the right direction.

All the utilities were turned off as of today and once the demolition permit is paid for we are A-GO for a wrecking ball. Actually, it’ll probably be more like a giant yellow earth mover kind of thingy. I’m not sure what they are called to be honest…

I created a FB page for the blog so that on demo day I can FB live the fun stuff. So if you’re interested, head over there for video on the day of. I’ll try to post a notice everywhere so no one misses it, but I’m not sure how much notice we’ll get. But honestly the house coming down is a big part of this dream- maybe the craziest part.
