Video tour: drywall edition
The drywallers had a few days of delays due to rain making it hard to get materials onsite, but once they did they were a FORCE. The whole house worth of drywall was hung in a day and a half. Then the mudding/taping guy came in and worked 8 12 hour days straight with barely any breaks. Then they primed and painted the ceilings in another day. It might be hard to see some of the details/flow due to everything being white.
We’re still waiting on a few patches and fixes, but I’ve already started painting some of the rooms (starting in rooms that will have carpet eventually). It’s really real house feeling now.

This must feel like approaching the final mile of a marathon and choosing paint colors is part of the prize. Your sense of accomplishment is known to very few people. Can’t wait to see it for myself next month!
House looks great, nice job on drywall and the rooms are much better defined. I love the window box in Karenna’s room, ideal for a “bookworm”:) Cannot wait to see it in July.
Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuue, that’s a HOUSE!!!!!!!!
